Privacy Policy

What we collect

We collect your email address and name when you create an account. We store the Amazon ASINs and listing data you submit, competitor listings fetched on your behalf, and generated listing content. We also collect basic usage data to operate the service.

How we use it

Your data is used solely to provide the service — fetching competitor data, extracting keywords, and generating optimized listings. We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your listing content to train AI models.

Third-party services

We use the following sub-processors to deliver the service:

• Anthropic — AI processing for keyword extraction and listing generation
• Rainforest API — Amazon product data retrieval
• Stripe — Payment processing (we never see your card details)
• Railway — Cloud hosting and database storage
• Resend — Transactional email delivery

Data retention

Your data is retained while your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing privacy@rankscribeiq.io. We will process deletion requests within 30 days. Certain data (such as billing records) may be retained for a limited period where required by law.

Cookies

We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in. No tracking or advertising cookies are used.

California residents (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act gives you the following rights with respect to your personal information:

• Right to know. You may request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you and the purposes for which it is used.
• Right to delete. You may request that we delete your personal information, subject to certain exceptions permitted by law.
• Right to opt out of sale. We do not sell your personal information.
• Right to non-discrimination. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your CCPA rights.

European residents (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we process your personal data on the following lawful bases: performance of a contract (to deliver the service you signed up for) and legitimate interests (to keep the service secure and prevent fraud).

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Rectify inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
• Erase your personal data (the "right to be forgotten").
• Restrict our processing of your personal data in certain circumstances.
• Data portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
• Object to processing based on legitimate interests.

RankScribeIQ is operated from the United States. When data is transferred from the EEA to the US, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission where required.

We may update this policy occasionally. Significant changes will be communicated by email.
